Your best chance of a successful repair is getting the device into the correct hands to begin with, I see macs on a weekly basis that have been damaged by people trying to repair them themselves or by inexperienced repair shops. Macbooks are delicate little creatures Apple do not want you to repair it they want you to buy a new one! If fixing them was easy this website would not exist!

Due to the nature of how I work, I am able to offer flexible hours for contacting me and for both drop-off and collection. I am happy to take WhatsApp messages and usually respond straight away 7 days a week between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. I also offer drop-off and collection of devices during these hours, but evenings are preferred.

The majority of my jobs now come from repeat customers, other repair shops I do freelance work for, or from people I have done repairs for who have recommended me to friends and family. A good reputation cannot be bought; it is earned. I enjoy what I do, and without broken devices on my desk, I wouldn't be able to do this.

Fixthings-MacBook repair isn’t a business run from a shop. I did own and run my own PC repair shop for many years, repairing Macs, PCs, laptops, and game consoles. Over those years, I repaired thousands of Macs and laptops and also ran a successful console repair business that, at its peak, was doing returns for larger businesses. Due to the nature of this business, I was working 7 days a week and spending around 14 hours per day in the shop. Eventually, it became too much, and the business was sold so that I could spend more time at home and start a family. During Lock-Down, I got the bug again for repairing.....

Well what can I say Anthony was absolutely amazing what a nice wonderful guy, very knowledgeable and very helpful . My MacBook pro 2016 model had a flexigate issue common on these which is a issue with the screen not working. He fixed the issue and laptop works absolutely fine. His prices are very good and his workmanship is top notch. I would always recommend Anthony going forward.
Anthony is nothing short of amazing! From the first point of contact he was giving me advice as that point I was unsure if it was liquid damage. As soon as I dropped it off he opened it up, took a look and gave me his initial thoughts and findings. He kept me updated through out the process including and he is completely transparent. Literally the day it was fixed, I messaged him in a panic because it wasn't charging properly, he advised me on the potential issue, turned out I was using the wrong cable the whole time so he stopped me frying the ports of my £1500 laptop a second time. I had a big coffee spill on my MacBook Pro recently and Anthony was beyond amazing! I phoned him at about 8pm and by 10pm he had cleaned everything up and managed to save all my data for me! I had problem of my expensive laptop’s c type charging port, which other repairer was saying to change the motherboard after trying their best and giving me big bill for that, afterwards I found him from google, Anthony dealt with me with great manners and gave me proper time on WhatsApp. He told me it could be the problem of c type charging IC on motherboard which he checked and was the same problem, he put new ic on the motherboard which he ordered from China, he already told me really less money for the job but when after work he left £20 more from the bill.
When I got home, my keyboard was not working right, previous repairer maybe damaged the strip of it, I told Anthony about it and he told me he will change the keyboard free of cost just I need to buy keyboard from outside.
He is really an amazing person, for life I can trust blindly with any my laptop problem & I am not going anywhere.

There are those of us who've always chosen Macs - since the 1990s in my case - but who've known we're being consistently over-charged by Apple for servicing, repair and replacement parts yet have been told by Apple that we must go to them. So don't tell Apple that Anthony can do it all much more cheaply, more quickly, more reliably and with much more good humour than they can. I recommend him highly.
Wow!! Just wow! Apple told me my logic board needed replacing. Hoxton Macs, where I purchased my refurbished 2021 MacBook Pro, told me if I investigated and touched the logic board my warranty would be void but they would not elaborate on their investigation process. So I was left with little choice but to ask Anthony to take a look and boy….did he!!! I won’t go in to detail here with what he found but it’s safe too say he knows his stuff. The amount of detail Anthony goes in to to ensure his work is done professionally, efficiently and what seems effortlessly is simply quite remarkable. This guy is sooo passionate about what he does, writing such a high praise review doesn’t seem enough! All I can say is if you have an issue with your computer and it’s been written off….don’t hesitate to get in touch! If it’s fixable, he’ll fix it cos he fixes things.

Anthony was just amazing. My MacBook screen was broken and needed to be replaced. He suggested to order replacement screen online and he could put the new one on. He accommodated me at short notice and got the screen fixed in less than a day. And most importantly he was fairly priced. So all good and had a wonderful experience. Keep up the good work Anthony!

Managed to find fix things through hours searching on the Internet. Apple and others were saying 350/450 for screen repair which is extortionate. This guy ended up charging me for a working screen 130 quid with free return postage. I can't say how surprised I was when he sorted it out for me and spoke through pricing and details. He's a real genuine guy just doing it for fun. Not a lot of them like him left out there sadly. 10/10 will be using in the future

My A1708 MacBook Pro screen appeared to have the flexgate issue. I contacted FIXThings and I have received the best service describable! Firstly the Flexgate issue was successfully repaired, but it later turned out that in addition to this, my screen was damaged. We initially thought the damaged screen was Flexgate only, but it turned out to be Flexgate and a damaged screen! This was coincidental! Instead of just sending me on my way, Anthony worked tirelessly to get me an immaculate screen replacement and wouldn't stop until I was happy. In addition, I was so impressed with the quality of his laptops for sale that I purchased another MacBook Pro for my wife! I now have two MacBook Pros that are grade A condition and have paid hundreds less than competitors. I know this because I emailed at least 15 other people about this flexgate issue / screen issue before deciding on FIXthings. Everyone else quoted a lot more or didn't seem to know much about the issue. Anthony is a very knowledgeable and trustworthy guy and you won't regret meeting him! Thanks again Anthony!

Found nick online so I messaged him to see if he can help with my MacBook Pro that was having issues. After messaging back n forwards I got to know him so I felt safe in the job in hand he could do. Next day I dropped my MacBook off with him and wow the knowledge,tools and experience this man had blew me away. He replied to my question on a Saturday night. Clearly knew a lot about Macbooks and has a passion for repairing various electronic items. He'll tackle consoles, Audio Equipment etc as well if given the challenge to do something different.
He didn't find much wrong with my Macbook. Initially I thought it was going to be beyond economic repair due to the way it behaved after not being used for months. But after a new battery, new thermal paste and a good clean. It's running fine again.
He'll fix machines that Apple won't and will do it to a proper standard, using genuine spares from donor machines.
Will recommend to others and will happily contact him again for more work or advice in future.

I can't recommend Macbook repair - FIXthings highly enough! I recently needed an urgent replacement PSU for my work PC, and he had it replaced and back to me in in working order in less than 24 hours.

If you are unlucky enough to have a broken mac and have had one the "Genius Guys" tell you that your mac is "Vintage" and cannot be repaired or have been quoted HUGE sums to replace the entire Logic-board, GET IN TOUCH. The "Genius's" in apple shops are just salesmen they get commission for selling you a new mac, they are NOT technicians!
